NMA is a not-for-profit, community-managed organisation providing services to migrants and refugees in the Nepean Region (Penrith, Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains).
The organisation has been in operation since 1986.
Our services include settlement support, case work, group work and day care services for CALD seniors, over 65 years of age.
Target group
NMA is a generalist organisation supporting the settlement of migrants and refugees in the Nepean Region (Penrith, Hawkesbury and Blue Mountain LGAs).
We also provide services to CALD seniors over 65 years of aged, assisting social participation, development of personal networks, fostering independency for as long as possible.
Programs
The settlement program provides support, information and referrals to meet the needs of newly arrived migrants, humanitarian entrants and refugees in the first five years of arrival.
There is also an aged day care program with support for seniors over 65 years of age.
