Sydney Multicultural Community Services celebrated Harmony Day on March 26 at the Crows Nest Community Centre.
North Sydney Council, Sydney Multicultural Community Services, North Sydney Council and the Crows Nest Community Centre joined forces to stage what turned out to be a very successful event, enjoyed by over 160 attendees.
Entertainment included Welcome to Country and some evocative didgeridoo.
People enjoyed Bollywood and traditional Indian dancers and singers, the Bosnian Blue River Choir, a Congolese poet, Japanese drumming and an Asian/K-Pop group.
Everyone brought a dish from their country of origin and the feast was substantial.
It was a very enjoyable event celebrating peace, unity and harmony in the community.
