Accessible Diversity Services Initiative Limited (ADSI) is a community-based, non-profit organisation established in 1996 with an aim to promote the principles of multiculturalism, access, equity and social justice.
The organisation is committed to developing strategies that address the needs of local migrants and focuses on recent arrivals, emerging communities and special needs groups, including humanitarian entrants, refugees, women, youth, children, seniors, the unemployed, people with disabilities and people who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness.
ADSi designs and delivers services that aim to build capacity and improve outcomes for disadvantaged people and families.
Target group
As part of the Settlement Services Program, ADSi provides assistance to newly arrived migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds living in the Central Western Sydney areas.
Programs
ADSi has been providing settlement services to newly arrived migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants for 20 years. The provision of settlement services is delivered by professional, bilingual case workers through three service types:
Casework and Information. This service addresses clients’ needs and issues in the process of settlement, ensuring the independence and self-reliance of all clients, and the ability to get access to mainstream services.
Community Development. Community Development assists making social connections and adapting to a new social environment, creating a sense of belonging in the local community, and building capacity of clients and communities.
Youth Services. ADSi focuses on the special needs of young people (15-24) with a targeted services delivery approach, and specialised and customised services.

ADSi also provides legal assistance and financial counselling services in partnership with Legal Aid NSW and Granville Multicultural Community Centre, respectively targeting above service recipients and all local community members.
