SydWest Migrant Resource Centre showcased ten amazing local refugee success stories during Refugee Week 2021 with a large portrait photographic exhibition – Our Journey.
It launched the exhibition at the Blacktown Library with an intimate, COVID-safe group audience of 45 years and above.
The exhibition was in acknowledgement of the diversity and successes in the local area.
The exhibition was intended to go on display at various locations around the Blacktown LGA during June and July. However, due to COVID restrictions and lockdowns, the roadshow was put on hold.
The beautiful photographs are still on view with each individual’s achievements at an online exhibition gallery on Facebook.
