Settlement Services International (SSI) and its Youth Collective, which includes the NSP Youth Workers Network, recently launched a campaign in partnership with NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service (MHCS).
Young people have been hit hard by this pandemic.
The campaign encourages young people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, their families, friends and broader communities, to seek support for mental health.
Funded by Primary Health Networks’ Head to Health Service, it was launched through an online event on November 24.
The Youth Collective, coordinated by SSI, worked with six amazing young people to produce short individual clips featuring personal stories of how they maintained their mental and physical health during the last lockdown.
The short clips, as well as a longer video compilation, are available in several languages, including English, Hazaragi and Nepali.
They are available on the NSW MHCS YouTube channel, and will be posted to SSI social media throughout the month of December.
Keep an eye on SSI’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages and please like and share the videos to amplify the voices of our young people.
